What is already settled
Most tools that do anything with AI buy the model capacity and resell it to you inside a per-seat price, with a margin you cannot see and a cap you did not choose. Memry runs on a key that belongs to you. You pick the provider, you pick the model, you see the bill from the provider, and if a cheaper or better model appears you switch to it without waiting for us.
Each account sets its own key, in its own settings.Built It is checked when you save it, and it is never shown back on a screen or written to a log. What is not going to change is whose key it is. Where your text goes, in all three cases.
What that means for your bill
No margin on tokens
We do not resell model capacity, so there is no hidden markup between what the provider charges and what you pay for it.
You set the ceiling
The spend is on your account with your provider, which means the limit is one you set and can see, not one you negotiate with us.
Switchable
Model choice is yours. When the economics change — and they change every few months — you move without waiting for a release from us.
Most of Memry does not use a model at all
This matters for the price, so it is worth being precise about. The parts of Memry that notice things, raise things and keep things are ordinary deterministic software. A model is only involved in drafting prose.
Works with no key at all
Projects, tasks, people, documents, money, search, the queues, the watch list, the starter rules that flag an overdue task or a moved deadline, the full trail and its export.
Uses your key
Drafting written text. Without a key, those turn into explicit buttons you press rather than something that silently stops working.
So a company with no key still gets a product that notices everything. The key buys you the writing, not the memory.
